About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to support the day-to-day administrative operations of the gallery. This is a part-time role ideal for someone with a keen interest in the arts, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
General administrative support including answering enquiries, managing correspondence, and filing
Organisation and maintenance of our art storage spaces
Shipping of artworks pre and post exhibitions and for clients sales.
Assisting with exhibition logistics
Maintaining and updating artist records and inventory databases
Coordinating and research with suppliers, couriers, and shippers
Assisting during private views and events (occasionally outside regular hours)
Requirements
Previous administrative experience, ideally in a creative or gallery setting
Experience with art inventory systems (e.g. ArtLogic) a plus
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication
A genuine interest in contemporary art and gallery practices
