About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to support the day-to-day administrative operations of the gallery. This is a part-time role ideal for someone with a keen interest in the arts, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • General administrative support including answering enquiries, managing correspondence, and filing

  • Organisation and maintenance of our art storage spaces

  • Shipping of artworks pre and post exhibitions and for clients sales.

  • Assisting with exhibition logistics

  • Maintaining and updating artist records and inventory databases

  • Coordinating and research with suppliers, couriers, and shippers

  • Assisting during private views and events (occasionally outside regular hours)

Requirements

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally in a creative or gallery setting

  • Experience with art inventory systems (e.g. ArtLogic) a plus

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • A genuine interest in contemporary art and gallery practices
